Parents are seeing the results of how we use fun, adventure and friendship to build girls' confidence. Guiding is a place where girls can be girls, where they will discover their passions, contribute to their communities and form friendships in a safe and positive environment. Our non-competitive learning environment is open-minded and values based. It’s a supportive place to grow confident, adventurous girls who are ready to be tomorrow’s leaders.
We have spaces for girls aged 7-9yrs at our Clover Park unit to come along and make friends, build confidence, boost self-esteem and learn new life-skills.
In June, we launched a promotional campaign for our Empowering Tamariki – Bully Awareness and Prevention programme for primary schools. We were thrilled with the positive response and are especially grateful for the constructive feedback we received. This feedback has led to the development of a new supporting resource: a parent course designed to align with the teaching resource used in schools.
The Parent Course is now available in both audio and written formats and complements the Bully Awareness and Prevention programme delivered in classrooms. It offers practical guidance to help parents approach bullying concerns calmly and constructively, while also providing strategies to support their child effectively.
These resources are designed to strengthen relationships between schools and whānau, and to foster a cohesive, supportive approach to student wellbeing.
