Here are some websites that your child may want to engage with to support them with Maths.  There are also some great ideas for whānau on how you can support your child.

Helping at home

This site provides you with a range of digital activities to do with your children. For each activity, suggestions are provided about: how you can use the activity, questions to ask your child, and further activities that you do together as a family.

ICT Games 

This site contains lots of different games that cover a wide variety of maths areas. Make sure that you check out the sections on number facts, counting, and more/less!

Math Playground 

As well as the exciting games, be sure to check out the Maths Manipulatives and the Thinking Blocks. These provide great opportunities for you to talk with your child about maths. 

Mathszone

This site contains links to lots of different games that cover a wide variety of maths areas. Make sure that you check out the counting and number area!
